detailed management plan provides strategies for the
stewardship of all forest resources and serves as a
basis for making management decisions on the
Reservation timberlands.
FSC Certified
Warm Springs Forest Products
Industries has been awarded the Chain of Custody
Certificate by the Forest Stewardship
Council. The FSC has developed a set of Principles
and Criteria for forest management that are applicable
to all FSC-certified forests throughout the world.
There are 10 Principles and 57 Criteria that address
legal issues, indigenous rights, labor rights, multiple
benefits, and environmental impacts surrounding forest
management.

Management Services exist to plan and execute a balanced
direction for the protection, use, and enhancement of all
tribal natural resources. Resources shall be managed as
sustainable assets available for cultural, subsistence,
economic and social purposes or opportunities in perpetuity
consistent with the Confederated Tribes sovereign and treaty
rights.
